INSOMNIA

 

  • Anxiety disorder, psychophysiologic insomnia.

  • Depression.

  • Drugs (e.g., caffeine, amphetamines, cocaine), hypnotic-dependent sleep disorder.

  • Pain, fibromyalgia.

  • Inadequate sleep hygiene.

  • Restless leg syndrome.

  • Obstructive sleep apnea.

  • Sleep bruxism.

  • Medical illness (e.g., GERD, sleep-related asthma, parkinsonism and movement disorders).
